The day is here and I'm really excited to show you everything you need to know about this collection. In this article I will explain how you can be part of this collection and get the most out of it!
Also before I begin let me thank you for being here, reading this roadmap, showing interest in my work. I have been a professional artist for a bit over 10 years and I think launching a NFT collection on the proton-chain has to be one of the most enjoyable experiences I had. The community is incredible and the tech just as good, so again I’m really grateful for this opportunity.
Collection
If I have learned something on my journey so far, is that in the NFT market, uniqueness is king, so this time every single NFT from the collection will be a unique 1/1 edition.
Just one tiny exception with free drops and some fun collectibles, but if it is not a 1/1, is free
The collection will consist of 4 NFT types:
- Space Explorers- 50 NFTs
- Space Ships- 15 NFTs
- Upgrades- 195 NFTs
- Space hubs- 15-20 NFTs
Space Explorers types: Adventurer, Scientist, Engineer, Doctor and Pilot.
There will be 5 different Space Explorer models to collect. Each of this models will have 10 unique variations of its own type.
Space Ship types: The Bullet, The Compass and The Lab.
Same as with the explorer, each type will have unique variations, this time 5 variations per type of ship.
Ship and Explorers will share the same properties since they will level and behave the same way
Crew Ready, Rank, Upgrades, Mission Completed
Upgrades will be all unique, they will range from weapons to magical items. They will work in, combo for the other NFTs in the collection, so you can collect all items of the same branch like Genesis, Proton, Comic Style or from different branches.
They will have two properties Uses and Type, you can use the upgrade in any style of Space Explorer or Space Ship, the looks are just the fun part, no restrictions there. However there will be Ship and Explorer specific upgrades, you can’t use a fusion engine on a person can you? 😆
The Space Hub is the reward of this collection so be sure to keep reading so you can understand what kind of reward is and how to obtain.
When referring to crew members in this article keep in mind it includes Space Ships
The mission
Your main mission is to guide your crew and help them reach intergalactic fame and power. In order to accomplish this, you will need to fully upgrade your space ship and your explorers. Only the most skillful can obtain the Space Diamond, a powerful space station capable of creating portals to the farthest places of the galaxy.
Mission One: The crew
You first mission is to create a crew, you will need 2–3 Space Explorers and 1 Space Ship, they will travel through space as one. You have 2 options:
- Collect 2–3 characters and a space ship yourself
- Get together with friends and create a crew together (more fun ;))

Once this mission is completed all the members of the crew will activate. This means, you will be eligible for upgrading your rank.
Mission two: Leveling Up
You next objective will be to collect 3 Upgrades for each of your crew members, this will make them rank up until they reach Diamond Rank, once this rank is reached the next mission opens up.
Mission Three: Space Diamond
Once you reach Diamond level with 4 or 3 crew members you can claim the Space Diamond Hub, this will count as a mission success. A maximum of 20 hubs will exist all different and minted into collections of 3 or 4 NFTs. If you claim your hub with a crew of 4 instead of 3, you will get +1 hub, one for each of the crew members.
Attributes and Completing your missions
Crew Ready:
To be considered crew ready, a group of two Space Explorers (or 3*) and a Space Ship will need to be activated. This activation can be done by sending 1 XPR from the holding wallet/s to the official collection wallet spacediamond.
On the memo of this transaction/s, type the name of the 3 or 4 Crew Members to be activated. This in order to make the activation official and irrefutable.
I want to make clear 1 to 4 different wallets can participate on the activation of a crew. If more than 1 wallet is participating, the memo specifying the names of the Crew Members needs to be identical on all transactions.
*A crew can be made out of 2 Space Explorers and a Space Ship or 3 Space Explorers and a Space Ship. Once a Crew Member is activated their Crew Ready will remain on yes forever.
- The Crew Ready attribute will have 2 values Yes/No
Rank:
Only Crew Ready members will rank up, so the Space Explorer or Space Ship ranking up will need to have their Crew Ready attribute set to Yes.
To rank up Crew Members is really easy. Obtain an adequate Upgrade and same as before, send 1 XPR to the official wallet spacediamond. On the memo section specify both, the Upgrade to be used and to which Crew Member is being applied.
More info on Upgrade NFTs later, also do not confuse the Upgrade Attribute of your Crew Members with the Upgrade NFTs
- The rank attribute will have 5 values None/Silver/Gold/Platinum/Diamond
Upgrade (attribute):
The upgrade attribute will keep track of how many upgrades a Crew member has. You can apply a max of 3 upgrades to your Crew Members. If you are not part of a crew you can still apply upgrades to your Crew Members, however it will not rank up.
- The upgrades attribute will have 4 values 0/1/2/3
Upgrades (NFT)
Upgrades will only have 2 attributes, Uses and Type. It will keep track of the number of uses left, any upgrade will have only 1 use.
- The Uses attribute will have 2 values 1/0
- The Type attribute will have 2 values Explorer/Ship
Mission Completed
Once you reached max level on 3 or 4 Crew Members (can be different members from the activation) you can claim your Space Diamond, a 3D VR ready room to hold all your NFTs on the metaverse. To claim, just same way as activating your crew.
Send 1 XPR from the holding wallet/s to the official collection wallet spacediamond.
On the memo of this transaction/s, type the name of the 3 or 4 Crew Members claiming their Space Diamond. This in order to make the claiming official and irrefutable.
Side Mission
When creating this collection I had in mind the collaborative focus. I come from a game development background and I can’t help but to try and make interactive experiences.
If you pay attention you will see that there is an specific amount of combinations that will lead to make all 65 NFTs fit on a crew. So an example:
If all crews are made out of 3 or 4 members 1-2 Explorers/Ships will not be able to complete the mission and reach Diamond level.
I want to make this a bit more interesting so to make it a special challenge, if the whole collection reaches Diamond level I will make an Special Extra Drop to every crew. Mission Report NFT a virtual asset with the name of your crew members, all VR compatible to show off on your Space Diamond Hubs!
This will require great team work and a community effort, is not gonna be easy but I trust you can do it 🚀.
Closing Thoughts
Well that is lot isn’t it? Don’t worry this article is meant to be a guide so you can come back from time to time and check how to progress. No need to memorize it all. Also wanna take the chance to let you know I will be doing a side collection, it will be based on the community experiences.
I will be creating mini stories with the collected NFTs in the form of dioramas! It will be called Space Diamond Stories, but for now that is all I will say about it 😉.
